At South Downs DA, we like to keep things relaxed and friendly! Whilst we’re not keen on strict rules, there are a few simple guidelines we need to follow so everyone can have a safe, happy, enjoyable time and of course remain wise😁
Remember if you’re not sure on anything please just ask, we were all newbies at one time 😊
Arrival at Site
Please report to the stewards upon arrival. Membership cards must be provided upon request.
Pitching
All units must be 6 Meters apart from the neighbouring unit, excluding guy lines.
Speed Limit
The speed limit is 5mph at ALL times, this is for the safety of all.
Rubbish Disposal
Please take rubbish home with you. Bins are only provided on our THS’S
Waste Disposal
Chemical Toilets must only be emptied at the designated elsan disposal point. Please do NOT use the fresh water tap for cleaning.
No Movement
There is to be NO vehicle movement between 11pm and 7am.
Dogs on leads
Please ensure dogs are on leads at all time, no longer than 2 Meters. Please clean up after your pets.
No Noise After 11pm
Please be respectful of your neighbours with levels of noise. Between 11pm and 7am no noise is permitted.
Fire Buckets
The club reccommend that fire buckets are placed outside of units.
No Open Fires
Open fire are not permitted outside units. They may be permitted in a designated area agreed by stewards. Please check
No Drones
Drones are not permitted to be launched or flown over camping area.
Generators
Gennys are permitted during certain times. Please check with the steward
